Koury Farms Weddings

5.0

Auburn, GA

Koury Farms is AMAZING! Every single step of the process from booking through the end of the wedding day was great. Scott, Glynis and the rest of their team are so kind and professional. Scott answered all of our questions when we toured and even gave us some great general wedding planning tips. Glynis always responded to my emails within a day if not less. My biggest advice would be to go to their Prop and Play event each month. Prop and Play was one of the big reasons we chose them. Firstly it is so unique to get to visit your venue multiple times throughout the planning process and as a visual person it was nice to see the space each month as I worked on different logistics of the wedding. Secondly, they have amazing vendors come to this event. It is only people they trust and know do good work at their venue. We booked nearly all our vendors from Prop and Play and didn't have a single issue with any vendor booked through Prop and Play. Thirdly, they have an amazingly large prop closet and at Prop and Play you get to play with these props and figure out how you want to decorate your reception space. The props are all included in your booking so it saves you a ton of money on decor. We also had a coordinator through Koury Farms. Kristen was our coordinator and she does such an amazing job. She coordinates tons of weddings there and knows the Prop and Play vendors really well. I struggled with conceptualizing the logistics of the day and she really helped me with that. The timeline she made for the day was perfect and because of her coordinating the day went off seamlessly. She also was always available when I had questions and made sure to check in with me when I was at Prop and Play each month. Also the bridal villa is PERFECT! It was so much fun getting ready with my girls there. It had plenty of space for all of us (I had 5 bridesmaids). It has amazing lighting for hair and makeup. My hairdresser (who had done many weddings and many different venues, but this was her first time at Koury Farms) said it was the one of the few times she'd had enough outlets and enough space for all of her stuff. The covered ceremony space is GORGEOUS! It backs up right to the vineyards and is the perfect setting for your vows. I was in love with it from the moment I saw it and imagined walking down the aisle there. Also it being covered was a huge plus for me. It meant I could plan the outdoor ceremony of my dreams without worrying about having to create a rain plan. My wedding was in the summer, so it also provided much needed shade during the ceremony. Overall, Koury Farms is the perfect venue. You can tell they really think about the details of each space from the bridal villa, to the ceremony space, to the reception hall. They pour their heart and soul into the weddings there and they genuinely want all of their couples to have the perfect day.

    Amicalola Falls State Park

    Dawsonville, GA

The staff at Amicalola Falls Lodge truly gave us our dream wedding, transforming the lodge into a 5 star wedding venue. We looked at multiple wedding venues in the area and we chose Amicalola for 3 reasons: 1.) you cannot beat the views, they outrank other venues by miles and truly showcase the breathtaking beauty of the mountains 2.) having over 50 hotel rooms and an onsite restaurant allowed our guests to all stay in one place, not drink & drive, and ultimately make a whole weekend out of it! 3.) the STAFF! They made us feel like family and on wedding day, we felt like royalty. It was such a blessing to work with every single one of their staff, from banquet staff to maintenance to kitchen and housekeeping; every single person was so hospitable. Even our guests stated this has been the most kind group of folks they’ve ever been hosted by for a wedding. We were blown away by the staff dedication to bring our vision to life, the quality of the wedding day food, the customization for the rest of the weekend meals, and how smoothly everything ran. Shout out to Tiffany, Lori, Ryan, Mike, Daniel, and everyone who was working our big day! Choosing this venue was the best decision we made for our wedding, handsdown!
