We had an unusual experience in that we wanted to capture both of our faith traditions on different days and different geographical areas in the same state. Anna Elisabeth professionally and respectfully photographically savored these traditions beautifully with her photographic gift. “I was referred to Birch Fields by my cousin (who used Birch Fields for her wedding) 2 weeks before my June 2020 Covid wedding. We decided last minute to have the wedding even if it was just going to be immediate family. Because no extended family or friends were allowed at the time we wanted a way to record the day as if they were there. I had posted I was looking for someone to shoot on a VHS camcorder and film the whole wedding start to finish with no breaks just like old family videos we had growing up. Steven not only was up for the challenge, but spent his whole day capturing every detail of our wedding. We got copies of both 4k and VHS which is so special and cool. We were so impressed and absolutely loved Steven that we have since used him for my Sister-In-Laws baby shower and my Father-In-Laws 70s birthday party. Birch Fields is like family now!”

My photos were my top priority of my wedding day and it was extremely important to me that they were what I wanted. I had searched for what seemed like forever and stumbled across Farfalla and immediately knew it was the style I had been searching for. The contrast makes the photos intimate without comprising them and being too dark. And there is no give in color, it’s beautifully there. I call it intimately colorful, which is what my day is all about. I knew our engagement photos would be good but they surpassed anything I imagined. They were STUNNING. My fiancé is not a picture person but we both felt so comfortable within 10 minutes of the shoot. We laughed, joked, and had fun the whole time, photographer included! She just has the most fun personality that would be needed on your wedding day and from day 1 with all my questions, Mel responded within a timely manner and eased all my worries. Up to this point, I’ve texted her several times regarding the photos or canvas I’ve ordered and she’s always just so sweet and excited! It always makes you feel special by the end of a conversation. “We hired Brian and Veiled Rose to film our entire wedding day. After looking at a number of other vendors, we choose to go with Brian because he offered a quality product at a reasonable price. We were pleased to find out after booking that he also provided streaming of the ceremony as an add on for a nominal fee. This worked out better than expected--so many of our family and friends who couldn't make it not only joined us online but were also able to leave us well wishes using the guest book feature on the platform. Brian reviewed our day-of timeline to make sure we had enough coverage in terms of his time for all the important moments. Even though, he was the only person filming, he used the second, stationary camera so effectively, it looks like he had an assistant. This helped save us money while still delivering a high-quality finished product. We loved the final videos (full video edited version, YouTube trailer and TikTok/Instagram Trailer). I especially loved the way he captured the details of our venue, my dress in motion, and small, unplanned but fun and special moments between us that could have easily been missed. In the full video he did a split screen during our toasts so we would not only remember our friends as they shared their love and blessings for our marriage, but we could also see our reactions to each of them and to each other. This was unexpected but one of my favorite parts among so many others moments he captured. Friends have told us how amazing our video trailers are and that they've watched them several times. So pleased and highly recommend Brian and Veiled Rose Films.”
