The gem of the venue, the two-story, 250 year old stone mansion still has its old charm but has been updated with modern amenities, luxury lounges, facilities and more. Large outdoor gatherings may be held in the fully restored tobacco barn that serves as our 2,400 sq ft event venue. Whether your event or wedding is held indoors or outdoors, the expansive landscape and ivy adorned farmhouse offer the perfect backdrop for any occasion.

“I truly cannot recommend The Stone House at Silver Creek and their amazing staff enough. If I could give them a million stars, I would. Megan and Braidyn went ABOVE AND BEYOND what I thought they would. Our big day wouldn’t have been a fraction of what it was if they weren’t working their magic behind the scenes. They worked perfectly together and it is evident that they both know how to do their job and do it well. Megan was so comforting before the ceremony, giving the bridal party a lil pep talk. Megan was constantly checking on us to make sure we were good and comfortable. They provided us with water and snacks, brought us drinks and hors d’oeuvres from the bar before and after the ceremony. Kept mine and my husband’s drinks topped off all night. So many little touches that we were not expecting at all, they did it and then some. We got so many compliments on how attentive they were and how kind they were. The planning process was also so easy with the staff at SHSC. They are SO responsive with ANY and ALL questions. I had a million questions about everything and they either had an answer or got an answer for me as soon as they could. They were truly there with us every step of the way from the SECOND we chose them as our venue. Their decor library is AMAZING!! As far as decor goes, we probably spent 100 total and we really didn’t even have to do that. They set up the entire ceremony site for us and were a HUGE help in setting up the barn and helping us decorate that. Our wedding was absolutely beautiful, everything we ever dreamed of and we truly have them to thank. The property is absolutely beautiful, the staff is amazing, and I could not recommend this venue enough!!!”

“After dreaming of marriage and a wedding my whole life, my husband and I finally got to experience all of that. The Winchester Opera House staff made our wedding and planning a dream! They have several options to meet your desires - from the beautiful ballroom, amazing food and drinks, bridal party prep areas (even a special area for the guys, or everyone!), a chapel, beautiful outdoor wedding space, and more right in the heart of downtown Winchester. We had an afternoon wedding with a brunch-themed reception. People are still complementing the food and entire experience, even 7 months later! Many shared some of the food was the best they've ever had. My husband is a foodie, so that part was important to him. The team discussed our desires, brainstormed with us, and created a reception beyond our expectations! We chose to hire the WOH coordinator as our wedding planner (an additional cost that was totally worth it and a deal compared to the cost of other wedding planners). The coordinator and assistant were present at the rehearsal, ceremony, and reception. Remaining their friendly selves, they also kept our large family on schedule and got everyone where they needed to be on time. We even gave them the challenge of getting 9 kids ages 20 months to 8 years old down the aisle and in their places, and the coordinators didn't hesitate to make it happen and work out kinks along the way. At the reception, they remained available, and one stayed close to us to make sure we were getting what we needed (and wanted)! My husband said the only thing he would change is to make it all last longer. We both loved our entire wedding rehearsal and dinner (we rented the WOH gallery for the rehearsal dinner), wedding, and reception. I highly recommend celebrating such a special event through the Winchester Opera House. They will work hard to accommodate your dreams! Quality of her flowers were superb and they stayed fresh for weeks. Venue was just breathtaking with beautiful sunset views for perfect pictures.
