If you go the other route—book first, learn about the style later—you may end up with photos that don’t match your vision. We came to Carrie after our first photographer disappointed us. She has more of a documentary style with less of an emphasis on the awkwardly posed photos. However, she will still go the extra effort to get an amazing poses shot if you ask. She has such a laid back and positive attitude. I recommend Carrie to anyone looking for beautiful images and a wedding day that doesn’t feel like a photoshoot. She’s a true professional.”

“No amount of words can express our gratitude to Lester & Dreisbach Photography and I could spend all day talking about how wonderful they are. They are beyond amazing and such beautiful human beings! We had searched high & low for the perfect fit and they both exceeded our expectations. “My husband Kevin and I got married in Simsbury, CT on 10/15/22 and had the most perfect day imaginable. This was in large part thanks to Isabelle and Unison. When we first started planning our wedding, we sought out to find as many LGBTQ vendors as possible, so finding Fairy Meadow (based out of our beloved neighborhood, at the time) was a true dream come true. When we first spoke over the phone, we shared our budget, a bare bones vision for our florals (dahlias, dahlias, and more dahlias!!!) and Isabelle took it from there. What we were greeted with upon entering the tent on our big day, was truly picture perfect. THE COLORS. The florals that Isabelle grows in her own backyard are truly mind boggling. Saroj James Hyoju, got into DJ industry upon walking into Latin club in Dallas, Texas in 2015. Coming from band background, he was surprised to see how people were moved by “Gasolina”, a reggaeton song. Observing how DJ was controlling the crowd’s energy while enjoying himself, this made him curious about club music genres, besides metal and rock. Following immediately, he hosted a Bring Your Own Beer (BYOB) house party, where 50 people showed up. They are so creative with light and texture and are daring to go anywhere. And then our wedding day..Oh My Goodness. I have never seen such beautiful photos. We got married in Montauk, NY and after our first look, we went out by the lighthouse and took photos over the bluffs. They are INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!! We got married at a yacht club and we had mentioned to Ishan how we would love a photo on a big yacht. He again rose to the occasion. We found friendly boat owners who let us board their yacht and Ishan got photos of us opening champagne and drone photos of us lying on the bow. He thinks on his feet and comes up with awesome photos in any circumstance. Ishan Fotografi really captured the highlights of the wedding perfectly. The photos were available by the time we were back from our honeymoon. We just received our album, which is not only breathtaking, but really tells the story of the wedding day.”

“The absolute best decision I made throughout my entire wedding planning process was hiring Carolina Hatton to help coordinate for our wedding day. I cannot imagine a more organized, thoughtful, and professional planner than Carolina! Carolina and her team went above and beyond from the moment we first spoke through even after our wedding day was over. Not only did she think of every small detail to help our day go smoothly, but her vendor recommendations and connections actually helped us save some money. Carolina worked with all of our vendors to create a foolproof timeline that allowed us to be able to relax, focus on each other, and enjoy our day with friends and family. Wedding planning can be overwhelming sometimes, but Carolina helped us make sure we were asking all the right questions at the right time.
