I began, 2017; ‘Editorial Fashion’ working with modeling agencies. Then doing my 1st wedding by request in Taiwan for a Luxury Editorial style wedding. I completely fell in love with wedding imagery and the process that all goes into the experience. From there ‘I’ became ‘we’ as my team grew. Having refined our Luxury Editorial Image over the years!

I am a wife, mother, teacher, and photo & video creator. I started taking my baby's pictures with a beginner's camera and fell in love. I started Megan Pontius Photography after I graduated Highschool in 2021. I didn't really get into couples photography until I got married in 2022. It wasn't until then that I really saw the different seasons in a relationship. Between the first date, to the 100th date, to getting engaged, stress of wedding planning, to the wedding day, and the days after that taking on life together. I'm here to make sure those moments are documented for you to look back on years later.

I started my photography in 2015 but have been involved with being on both sides of the lens and learning photography since 2011. I have studied fine art photography long before I ever started taking portraits of other people and shooting weddings. Fine art photography was my beginning, creating conceptual and authentic art that spoke to me and told my story was what I started with and then I started blurring that line between fine art and documentary. I started documenting other people and their lives in the same way that I created my own work intended for shows and galleries. That is how I came to the style that I shoot now, still blending the two parts of my life.
