A native of Oregon, Megan Bamford found her calling to cuisine when she was just a tot. In July of 2013, she was named Pastry Chef on Team USA, a role in which she will always consider being one of the most rewarding experiences in her life. She believes that cooking with fresh ingredients and having a positive attitude are the most powerful tools in the kitchen. Most recently Megan traded her chef coat for a lab coat and studied Food Science and Micro Biology at Penn State. As of May 2017 Megan finally made her way back to west coast to open Bamford Bakeshop with her family.

“Serendipity was such a fun choice for our special day! Instead of doing the traditional route of a wedding cake, we decided to do ice cream instead and it was a hit! Our guests loved it, especially since there was a range of flavors and cone/cup options. Booking with Serendipity was easy, and the list of ice cream flavors they have is extensive - be sure to check out their dairy free / gluten free options, as many of our guests appreciated these. The two gentleman working the cart were so nice and received many compliments. Overall, a great experience and perfect choice!”

Communication with them was easy and straightforward - they were very responsive and gave specific guidance when we had questions about options or pricing. Most importantly, the quality and presentation of their baked goods was exceptional. Our wedding cake was not only beautiful but also incredibly delicious. The dessert table they put together offered a wide variety that looked stunning and tasted so fresh. I appreciated that they were able to accommodate gluten-free guests too. “We had our wedding reception at a brewery and wanted some easy to eat sweet and salty snacks. These popcorn flavors were delicious, they sent us flavors to try before we decided. We chose 4 flavors and they shipped them right to our house. The popcorn buckets had our cute custom labels which they designed for us and looked PERFECT! We had tons of compliments on the popcorn. We ordered plenty and people were grabbing them to take home at the end of the night. A perfect snack after a few beers. Theu were very fast with the samples and the order too!”
