Our downstairs bathroom needs some love... We're planning to refinish the ceiling and walls, add a new shower, floor tiles and vanity. Retro-floral wallpaper may or may not stay... open to debate!

It would mean so much to us if you contributed to our tiny farm. Every little bit helps as we continue to tackle projects such as floorboards, water heaters, electrical panels, demo, tree removals, stone wall repairs, plumbing, paint, roofing, siding... Our hope is to give the barn and surrounding property the TLC it deserves. We so look forward to sharing this beautiful spot with all of you in the years ahead!

We're heading back to where it all started! Our trip in September begins in Lake Como, then includes Modena, Spannocchia (the farm where we met), Pienza, Parma and Milan. Our flights are booked, so all contribution will go towards the fun stuff: pasta, wine, cappuccinos, boat rentals, massages, pastries, cheese, cooking classes and the like! Grazie mille!

Our tired hallway/stairwell could use an upgrade! We'll be stripping old wall paper, repairing a water damaged ceiling and repainting for a brighter, happier space :)

Funds will be donated to the Italian farm where we met, Tenuta di Spannocchia. They will specifically be put towards gardening resources so the farm may continue to grow organic, sustainable produce for its employees and visitors.

Funds will primarily be used to fix and extend our existing wooden rail fence, which was once used to corral the farm's horses and pigs. Until we have goats of our own, we will be adding a wire mesh to the rails (similar to the picture above) to help corral our sweet puppy, River ;)

J & V are REALLY looking forward to next Spring. To start, they'd like to plant hydrangeas or rhododendron along the side of the house and scatter wildflower seeds in their field. Vanessa is hoping to create a small, cheerful garden in front of the cottage studio. She's currently eyeing English lavender, climbing rose (particularly Lady of Shallot), delphiniums, sweat peas and forget-me-nots! Jay is looking forward to building raised beds for his vegetable garden. These funds will go towards plants, seeds, soil, various garden tools, organic fertilizer and wood for the garden beds.
