“Nathan's grandfather was a big wheel thrower and we've have always wanted to learn to throw pottery together. What better way to celebrate Elissa taking the Clay name than to finally give it a whirl! We've found a cozy school near our new place in Barcelona that teaches pottery courses for beginners that looks like a perfect fit.”

“In Stockholm in the fall of 2021, we began taking swing dance lessons together and loved it! We would love to continue taking classes and getting to know the swing community in our new home in Barcelona. It is a wonderful way to connect with each other and learn something new together. We'd be happy to teach you the Charleston next time we're together!”

While in Uzes France with the Clay family in June 2022, we discovered Jean Arene a painter of Provence. We instantly fell in love with his art! As we both have spent time living in Provence, Arene's love for the landscape resonated with us. He also often paints flowering almond trees (as pictured here from his exhibit we visited), which we are currently studying and which we love! We would love to buy one of his paintings to hang in our first home together and to cherish for the rest of our lives together.
