We know that many of our guests will be travelling from far and wide, spending significant time and money to celebrate with us, and that's the best gift you could give us. Truly, we know that attending weddings can be prohibitively expensive and we do not want anyone fretting about gifts - your efforts to be there are more than enough. We don't have a registry, as we have lived together for several years already and do not need anything for our home. If you do feel compelled to give a gift, you could write us a card, contribute to our house fund or donate to Community Law & Mediation in our honor. Please do not give us anything tangible as we cannot take it back with us on the plane! Again, there is no expectation that you give anything. Your presence at our wedding is gift enough and means a lot to us.

We plan to donate these gifts to Community Law & Mediation, which assists people through free legal advice and representation; information and education; and mediation and conflict coaching services. The gifts will be donated to their Centre for Environmental Justice, which assists people with health concerns arising from air or water pollution or illegal dumping, poor sanitation or access to clean water, homes at risk of flooding, lack of access to green space, energy poverty, etc.
