Chicago Women’s Health Center facilitates the empowerment of women and trans* people by providing access to health care and health education in a respectful environment where people pay what they can afford. I have received health advice and care from this organization and they do amazing work. You can receive anything from yearly exams, to acupuncture and all with a care for patients that I have never experienced. Our new place has gardening space and what better way than to fill it with herbs! Aromatherapy anyone?

We would love to support a local farm and enjoy the fruits of their labor. We are hoping to be able to do this on our own one day but for now Renee will be bringing home a small bounty from work and we supplement with trips to the grocery store.
