Caitlin's parent's were kind enough to give us Adirondack chairs for our backyard, but they don't fit in the back of Joe's Trailblazer very well. The two camping chairs we have now are Caitlin's - from her days at Wofford. They're pretty beat up and not very comfortable. Help us sit outside in married comfort by getting us a new chair.

We love throwing parties in our backyard - last fall we threw a great tailgate party for the Oklahoma-Baylo​r game. But our only folding table is a high-school graduation gift from Joe's mom (a Monroe table, made in Colfax!). It's great but it weighs a ton. When Caitlin covers it with her delicious food spread it sinks into the ground. With this (lighter) table our party cleanup will be easier on the yard (and Joe's back).

For starting new garden beds. This spade is great for breaking unworked soil. Will compliment what we can't do with the power cultivator.

For cleaning up all the messes (wet and dry) that we will inevitably make together. Camping trips and beach weekends do a number on car interiors and living room carpets.

With this jack Joe can more safely and quickly work on their cars. His skills and limited to oil changes and replacing brake pads, but even this saves money. He currently uses the jack that came with his car to do these things.

So Joe can keep his and Caitlin's car clean. And also his canoe.

For clearing unbroken soil chunks off a new garden bed - the last step before planting it for the first time. Right now we kill more plants than we harvest, but each mistake teaches us a little more about working the land.

Caitlin enjoys restoring wooden furniture by sanding away deep scratches and bad paintjobs. But she doesn't enjoy doing it all by hand. With this sander she can get better at her hobby.

This heater might one day save our marriage. Joe refuses to turn up the heat, even on the coldest days. Caitlin's tolerance of continuous long-underwear use does have limits. Help us stay warmly married by getting us this heater.

Perhaps no better proof of Joe's advancing age (he'll be 32 on wedding day) is his interest in getting a couple nice rocking chairs. Help us grow old together and we promise to never lose our style.

Married couples do not always share the same hobbies. Caitlin does not share Joe's love for camping, which is not much more than sitting in the woods with bread, water, and tobacco. But she loves him enough to try camping. And he loves her enough to change his camping ways. With this generator Caitlin can camp without leaving behind her Kindle, iPad, and electric toothbrush.

One of our first bonding experiences was cooking food over an open fire. Caitlin showed Joe how to cook country-fried steak in a skillet - in his fireplace. Joe was so impressed he had no idea she had never done it before. Their love grew. Caitlin is an excellent cook and, thanks to help from Pioneer Woman, she gets better everyday. Paired with the chain hoist, this tripod will help us get better at outdoor cooking.

Oklahoma is hot. Help us play outside and keep hydrated too. In the future we might show up at family reunions or Christmas parties with this - full of lemonade or iced tea. If you're there you can remind us that it was a wedding gift from you, and then after that we can have a nice chat about other things.

Classy yard games are so coming back. Corn hole/bags is great for a frat party, but croquet is so much more. It has deep historical connections to British imperialism, and a strategy that requires both friendly diplomacy and treacherous backstabbinig. On top of that its easy to learn and fun to play (but tough to master). With it we will take our yard gaming to a much higher level. Oddly enough, this description could also be a metaphor for our general outlook on life.

An embarrassing fact about Joe is that he is not skilled in the manly art of grilling. He proudly helps Caitlin in the kitchen. With this adjustable fire grate Joe will better help Caitlin grill meat, but it will be in a more manly fashion since he'll be helping her do it outside.

Don't be fooled by the product description. This is really a two person tent - perfect for Joe and Caitlin to comfortably sleep outdoors. It has room enough for a queen-sized air mattress and maybe even a coffee table. With this tent Joe gains a lifetime camping partner.

Caitlin and Joe know that this is a big investment for their future home, but its possibilities are endless - smoothies, soups, sauces, ice cream - the list could go on and on.

Caitlin loves her KitchenAid stand mixer dearly. But, on some occasions, she has to halt her baking process to clean the one bowl she has so that she can use it again. A clear bowl that allows her to do measurements on the fly will help her baking process run smoothly.

There's nothing worse than finishing your cake batter only to discover a hidden pile of unmixed flour/cream cheese/butter/​whatever in the bottom of your mixing bowl. This will eliminate that problem for Caitlin for good.

The mesh strainer Caitlin uses now makes a huge mess in the kitchen every time she has to sift her dry ingredients. This crank sifter may look old-fashioned but it would be a life-saver.

Last Thanksgiving Caitlin and Joe made their first attempt at hosting a Thanksgiving dinner. It was made slightly difficult by their rather sparse materials at their disposal. Caitlin's sweet potato casserole won't be the same with these baking dishes.
