Crillion-le-Brave is a hotel the two of us have been dreaming of staying at since we got together. It happens to be two hours from the venue and we will be going there after the wedding to kick off a little mini-honeymoon.

Following the wedding, as the newly christened Popes, naturally we'll be visiting Avignon. La Mirande is the former palace of a Cardinal, that is now been turned into an incredible hotel. We will be staying there for three nights while we visit the city and wine taste in Châteauneuf-du-Pape.

The last stop on our mini-honeymoon is Arles, founded by the Romans (they called it "little Rome") and the current photography capital of Europe. This hotel is held within an 18th century residence and is located directly in the heart of the city.

While booking flights for our wedding, we saw the option to spend a day in Lisbon on the way home. Christophe has never been, and with his love of tinned fish, we thought it would be a fun way to break up the return journey!

In La Mirande's most ancient room, built in the 14th century, where cardinals treated the popes to dinner, now hosts a Michelin starred restaurant. We'll be eating there one of the nights we're in town.

After all excitement of the wedding, Agnes is going to need to relax. A massage at Crillion-le-Brave would be the perfect way for her to transition into relaxation mode after the wedding. Christophe would be happy to tag along.
