We're kicking off our honeymoon with a safari in Kruger National Park where we'll hope to see the Big 5: lion, leopard, black rhinoceros, African bush elephant, and African buffalo.

Emily has wanted to visit the Sossusvlei since she saw it in a National Geographic magazine when she was twelve. Jon is obliging (don't worry, he gets his part of the trip, too). We're going to spend a few days in Namibia exploring the world's largest sand dunes and admiring the stars in one of the least light polluted locations on Earth.

We'll wrap things up chilling on the beach in Mozambique (this one's for Jon). Our plans are to lay, snorkel, eat fish, and lay some more.

We're going to spend several days in Cape Town where we'll tour the Cape, climb Table Mountain, and hang out with penguins.

We're looking forward to spending some time in the South African "Winelands" outside of Cape Town. Our plan is to spend a few days in this region and take the "hop on hop off wine train" around to different vineyards.
