We'll be renting a condo on the Northern coast of Kauai, which boasts the most incredible and plush natural beauty. Any contribution to this part of our trip will be so appreciated!

As many of you know, since moving to St. Louis I (Hilary) have become a mentor or "big sister" to a little girl in St. Louis city. In my nearly two years so far as her mentor, I would like to think I am making a positive and long-lasting impact on her life, and I can say with absolute certainty that she has made one on mine. Evan has also had the opportunity to form a relationship of his own with my little sis; they have their own jokes together and she likes to show him the latest dance moves whenever she sees him. It is no secret that St. Louis is a city fraught with challenges, many related to severe poverty. The Big Brothers Big Sisters organization facilitates mentoring relationships for thousands of at-risk youth throughout our city, with their stated purpose "to ensure that children grow up with love, hope, and opportunity." It is worth noting that there are consistently over 1000 kids on the waitlist waiting for a mentor. This is an organization near and dear to us, we believe in what they're doing, and we would be honored if you would consider making a donation to them as a wedding gift to us.

With busy work schedules it can be hard to find time, but we love to go out to eat and try new great reataurants here in St. Louis for date nights.

A helicopter tour is supposed to be one of the most incredible things you can do in Kauai. It is the way to see some of the otherwise inaccessible parts of the island which contains some of the most incredible scenery. We can't wait for this!

We will need some wheels to explore the island and get from one amazing hike to the next incredible beach!

We hope to experience a Hawaiian luau while we are there! The Smith's Garden Luau is one that we have read up on and would love to go to.

We may not be able to stay here, but we want to experience dinner and drinks at the restaurant of the St. Regis Princeville resort on Kauai's North Shore. They have floor to ceiling windows to enjoy exquisite sunset views while partaking in the chef's tasting menu, and we figure it will be the ultimate honeymoon date night!

We plan on doing A LOT of hiking and adventuring around Kauai! We think it would be amazing to treat ourselves to a couples massage, classic honeymoon style :)

This restaurant looks amazing and is near where we are staying on the Northern coast of Kauai. We already have a reservation there which was required well in advance, and we can’t wait!

One of our favorite things to do together has always cooking a great meal. During our long-distance years, we celebrated special occasions like Valentine’s Day by cooking a special meal together over Skype. We have taken a couple of cooking classes together in Seattle and absolutely love them. Not only do you get to enjoy a great meal, you learn to cook new dishes that you can make for years to come. We would love the opportunity to take a great cooking class as a date night here in St. Louis.

Evan has been eyeing this board game for some time now and looks forward to playing it with Hilary for years to come!
