We're planning a trip to Japan. You can think of this as gifting us a night out in Shinjuku, dinner in Kyoto, or a stay at a Ryokan in Hokkaido...or as your way of helping us sashay to the United Lounge. Every little bit helps!

The MTA can only take us so far. We'll continue to pay our fares, but we're looking to invest in a small (yes, eco-friendly!) car for visiting our folks in Jersey in and upstate New York. For the right price, we might even give you a lift ;-).

The Against Malaria Foundation provides malaria nets. Malaria kills about 400,000 people every year and more than 200 million fall ill. Before bed nets were made available, it was three or more times that. Nets are a proven intervention - a more effective a way of saving lives than any other. There is still a long way to go and every death from malaria is preventable. Each net costs $2.00, meaning your donation goes a long way.

IGNITE Greater Newark is a student-focused, teacher-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation that is impacting the life paths of young leaders through transformative experiences. Since the group's inception in late 2012, teachers from throughout North Jersey have worked with students from the area to provide them with life changing opportunities and experiences that can tip them into higher levels of success and motivation.

Whatever the law or the courts decide, people have always had abortions and always will. Abortion funds provide financial assistance, travel, lodging, and many other types of support to abortion seekers. This network of abortion funds exists to fill the gaps in care. We will continue working in collaboration to make abortion access possible for anyone, wherever they live, and wherever they are seeking care.

Akari Light Sculptures by Isamu Noguchi are considered icons of 1950s modern design. Designed by Noguchi beginning in 1951 and handmade for a half century by the original manufacturer in Gifu, Japan, the paper lanterns are a harmonious blend of Japanese handcraft and modernist form.
