Eleanor and Daniel did their best to have each travel rotation as close to the water as possible. From snorkeling in Maui to surfing in Santa Cruz and sailing in Beaufort they gain so much joy from being on the water. During their final travel rotation in Beaufort, NC they visited The Bonehenge Whale Center. Bonehenge is a facility that supports research, marine conservation, and stranded specimen collection & maintenance that focus on NC cetaceans (whales, dolphins, and porpoises), past and present. Bonehenge, run almost solely by volunteers, provides a unique opportunity for people to have a hands-on experience learning about their direct impact on marine life. Bonehenge runs largely off donations so each gift goes a long way! learn more at https://bonehenge.org
