We love our current apartment in NYC but we're so excited to start looking at houses, and to hopefully find an amazing place in a more suburban atmosphere to move into (the goal is spring of 2023)!

The original plan was to spend ~4 weeks total exploring New Zealand, Australia, and Thailand in late '22 or early '23. We definitely plan on still taking that dream trip in the next couple of years, but with Mark having just started a new job (yay!) and Australia still being on lockdown (boo), we'll be opting for a shorter honeymoon this fall - location is in the works, so we'll take any and all suggestions :)

We've each picked a charity that we've contributed personally to over the years and mean a lot to us. We'll be splitting the donations we receive here and donating half to each of the following organizations: 1) Fisher Center for Alzheimer's Research Foundation - In honor of Kristen's grandfather, Paul W. Hessinger (1919-2010), and uncle, William A. Elek III (1941-2021), as well as the millions of other Alzheimer's patients and caretakers in the world. 2) Evidence Action - promoting sustainability by reducing parasites & water-borne illness in the developing world and using its operational efficiency to ensure a globe-spanning range of impact.
