We're very fortunate to have all we need to be happy together. Instead of a registry, we are thrilled to accept contributions to our honeymoon. We're flying to Bogota on Monday, June 17th. We'll spend a full day in the city to explore and eat at a wonderful restaurant. Then we're flying to the northern coast to stay at ecolodges in Minca and by the Tayrona Park. We'll end our trip with a few nights in Cartagena before flying back on Wednesday, June 26th. Thank you for your love.

Beverage pairings – created by daughter Laura Hernández-Espinosa – are no less adventurous, with many tipples fermented or distilled in-house. Espinosa was crowned Latin America’s Best Female Chef in 2017 and Leo broke onto The World’s 50 Best list in 2019.

Minca is a small town in the mountains above Santa Marta. Sporting picturesque scenery with a lush forest, stunning views of the surrounding mountains, and several waterfalls.

Diving deep into nature, we are hiking and exploring the wonders of Tayrona National Nature Park, a protected area in the Colombian northern Caribbean region and within the jurisdiction of the city of Santa Marta, 34 kilometres from the city centre. The park presents a biodiversity endemic to the area of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta mountain range, featuring a variety of climates and geography that ranges from arid sea level to 900 meters above sea level.

Exploring Colombian culture through cuisine. Waking up early to hit the local market, we learn how to make local dishes for an amazing lunch. We are looking forward to our first in-kitchen adventure as a married couple!
