Welcome to our gift registry! We’re excited and hopeful for our future together, and that of course involves YOU, our community, family and friends alike. In the times of Covid-19 we’ve had to adjust our plans significantly, cancelling our original wedding. Your giving to our funding is much appreciated as we navigate marriage and this new world. Thank you thank you thank you— we love you all so much! As you may or may not know we met way way back in the Kitsap days of yore, when we were but brooding teens and had yet to grow into the gorgeous creatures we are today. The funny thing? We ran in similar circuits of friends, always just missing each other. With only the occasional chance meeting we barely knew each other and that was that. Years after high school ended we replaced Kitsap as our respective homes and met again under different circumstances-- Ryan's band The Pronouns. Although we weren't close, we were closer than we had been and respect for each other's distinct hustle-n-flo emerged. Enter: June 2018. Teresa had just come back from EU, reinvigorated and ready to relocate across the country to start over. Ryan was plugging away, creating with a new band he had formed, with a fresh move to Tacoma under his belt. The meeting: An intimate house party. We met again this final time and it was a done deal. Our first date was Teresa's 10 year high school reunion. To the tune of 16 hours, you might say it was successful. Yesterday is history, tomorrow's a mystery, but here we are now... about to get married.
