Our wedding couples appreciate the authentic and welcoming warmth we offer at Salem Cross Inn – a warmth that can only be found in a colonial farmhouse and barn that have stood the test of time for centuries. If our walls could talk, they would tell you of all of the tender memories in the making that they have witnessed. Our New England venue with antique wide pine floors and chestnut beams sits on 600 acres of magnificent countryside with grazing cattle in the fields. We can accommodate up to 200 people in our barn and loft, while smaller weddings find a comfortable setting in one of our more intimate rooms in the house. We’re ready to help you make the wedding of your dreams become a cherished memory – not only for you – but for your guests as well.

      My husband and I were married at Salem’s this weekend and I wouldn’t change a thing about the day or the entire planning process! Honestly, I didn’t know anything about planning a wedding but Donna and Martha took care of everything I needed and even the things I didn’t know I needed. Through out planning communication was clear and timely. Donna answered all my questions and accommodated any changes (even last minute) without batting an eye. Salems has great relationships with local venders and their ability to collaborate made it all the more seamless. On the day of my family and I chose to get ready at Salem’s; we had a comfy suite and they served us a delicious sit down lunch with salads and mimosas in a private dining space. When a couple of little girls showed up as a surprise the kitchen staff even made them their own macaroni and cheese plates! The ceremony space and overall landscaping was perfect with flowers and fresh cut grass. Our guests loved taking photos on the beautiful grounds and our professional photos look like they are straight out of a fairy tale. At the reception everyone raved about the delicious prime rib dinner and strawberry short cake. The serving staff and bartenders were fun, personable, professional, attentive and really seemed invested in making my family’s day perfect. If I could do my wedding day again I would absolutely choose this venue.

      Donna at the Salem Cross Inn was fabulous to work with as we planned our small intimate winter wedding. She was very accommodating and flexible, completely open to every detail of our unique circumstances. The food was wonderful and plentiful. The ambiance was enchanting and perfect for a winter wedding. Our guests were delighted with the atmosphere, and many had never been there before so it was a memorable experience. The staff was extremely attentive and efficient with all of the wedding guests. In all it was a perfect day.

      Donna and Nancy at the Salem Cross Inn were so easy to work with. They lay everything out for you in a comprehensive way, and they were so accommodating. On the day of our wedding, they were helpful and attentive. We got so many comments on how beautiful the venue was and how amazing the food was. I would recommend the Salem Cross Inn to anyone, especially if you're looking for a scenic/ rustic style wedding.

      Even though it rained on our wedding day we still had the best time with Salem Cross inn. Many of our guest are planning to go back to the tavern they have just because the food was awesome. If I could I would have my wedding all over again and again at Salem Cross inn!
