Grant Andrew Jones and Neeley Claire Norman both grew up in Madison, Mississippi less than two miles apart from each other, but their story doesn't begin until October of their junior year at Ole Miss. They attended a party hosted by their greek affiliations in the fall of 2011, both dressed to the theme of, "80's Ski Lodge." The two were introduced by a mutual friend and although dressed in silly costumes, the two hit it off immediately.

With different graduation dates, Neeley and Grant overcame four years of a long distance relationship, with numerous road trips between their hometown of Madison and their college town of Oxford. Six years and two dogs and a kitten later, their love story continues.

Neeley, Grant and their two pups (Finn & Lyla) spent a rainy weekend in Oxford, which put a damper on Grant's proposal plans. After a morning waiting out the rain, the two went to grab coffee on the square and took their dogs to play in the Grove. Neeley bent down to see something shining on Finn's collar and looked over to see Grant down on one knee. In the excitement Neeley forgot to answer but she didn't forget to hold out her hand to accept the ring!
