Bradley and Mary Victoria met through the Baptist Collegiate Ministry at Georgia Tech at some point in 2015 (we're not exactly sure when) and it’s fair to say that falling in love with each other was definitely not on the radar. Over the next 3 years, we were both very involved in the BCM and found it to be our main community on campus: serving on the leadership team and forging lifelong friendships. During this time, we became friends but didn't interact much with each other. However by Fall 2018, we did both end up at Midtown Bridge Church and started to talk more frequently after church and BCM events. Bradley also started to notice how much of a servant Mary Victoria was and how she always seemed to have a sense of joy about her. We started spending more time with each other through group movie nights, game nights and a large group outing to Mary Mac’s Tea Room. After learning more about each other (including that we have the same favorite band: NEEDTOBREATHE!) Bradley asked her out in February 2019! Since then, we have already walked through many life transitions together: celebrating college graduation, finding full time jobs, even joining a church planting team. There have been movie dates, board game battles (that Mary Victoria usually wins), and the first few of many trips around the country! After falling in love over several months of dating, we both knew that we wanted to spend our lives together. On May 1, 2021, after a day of new experiences in north Georgia, Bradley asked Mary Victoria to marry him and she said yes! Our story together so far has been one of growth, mutual learning, love, patience and above all, God’s faithfulness. We remark often that who else but God would’ve thought that these two mutual friends from the BCM would end up so steadfastly committed to doing life together! We are thankful for how God has worked in our lives to this point and are very excited to see what He has in store for us as we begin married life together!
