My goal is to give you a wedding album that not only has great photos, but captures your emotions and feelings through the day. I want you to be able to go through your photos and remember how you felt for each one.

I prefer to operate behind the scenes. I photograph on longer lenses typically to stay out of the way. This way I do not block anyone's view and am not "in the way" during the ceremony. It also allows for more natural photos when taking candids of you and your guests.

    Justin was amazing throughout the wedding planning process. As part of the package he took our engagement photos, this was to help get to know us and what we liked and didn't like. I think this was part of the reason we were so comfortable during the wedding. My family really enjoyed interacting with Justin and was amazing with how many photos he took during the ceremony and at the reception. We also had a 2 hour gap between the ceremony and reception, and I think that helped with taking out time to get all the family photograph and couple pictures. During the engagement and ceremony we had out dog involved, and got some amazing photos with Lilly, which was great. Justin's style is a little more muted, and looks amazing with the outdoor locations we choose for the engagement and ceremony. He did a great job of capturing both posed and candid photos, and helped us get comfortable with the 'posed candid' photos of us walking or goofing off. Can't wait to get the rest of our wedding photos, but the engagement and sample we've gotten was amazing.

    Justin was the most stress free vendor we had through out the whole experience. He was patient and gave us great pointers as taking pictures can sometimes be awkward. I would recommend 1000x over

    We used Justin for our engagement pictures and our wedding and the pictures are perfect! He is nice, professional, creative, flexible, and has an amazing personality that is really easy to connect with. He caught the most amazing moments and had wonderfully creative ideas to make the process fun and charming. At the ceremony you hardly knew he was there but yet he didn’t miss a beat when it came to capturing the wedding party, guest, and of course the fun on the dance floor. You can’t make a better choice for your photographer.

    Justin recently photographed our wedding, he super friendly and did an amazing job of capturing our wedding. You can truly see the passion Justin has for his work when he is shooting, he was ready for rain or shine and took great care in making sure he got every wonderful wedding moment captured. We’re not the most photogenic couple but he did a fantastic job of helping us create some natural poses that even the most awkward people look great in and that we will enjoy for generations. I am so thankful we chose The Old North State Photography for our wedding day and you will be too. The prices were great and you could not ask for more knowledge and fun photographer.
