I’m Edgar, an HTX-raised native with Salvadorian roots. I am the owner, creative director, and lead photographer at Anchor Studios Photography. I'm a wedding and elopement photographer based out of Pittsburgh, PA! However, the stories I capture don't start and end there. I love to travel to capture stories all around the world.

My goal as your photographer is to capture your milestones as candidly as possible. This is why over the years, I've worked really hard to build a unique photography style that can tell your story in the most fun way!

    We had our wedding in California and Edgar flew out and helped make our day so memorable! We didn't know him before and didn't end up doing an engagement shoot (so I was a little nervous) but he absolutely nailed it. His photos are stunning (I've gotten a TON of compliments on them), he is extremely communicative, and he had a bunch of photos ready to go by the end of the wedding. Both me and my husband aren't great at posing for photos and he knew exactly how to place us without it feeling faked. Super easy to work with and just a really nice guy. I'd highly recommend him to anyone!

    Edgar flew across the country to come take our engagement photos for us! It was so great to meet in person and fully see his work come to life. He was easy to work with, gave us great posing prompts, didn’t make us feel rushed to get out photos completed, and got a huge number of photos back to us in a very timely manner. We’re really looking forward to having him shoot our wedding too.

    My fiancé and I hired Anchor Studios to be our wedding photographer for our upcoming wedding this July, and we just had our engagement shoot and we were blown away by the quality of the pictures and how fast he got them to us! We were on a time crunch because my fiancé was traveling for work so much so we couldn’t take engagement picture until late April, but because of our wedding coming up so soon he got the pictures to us in a little over a week after the shoot and we are so thankful for that! And the pictures were absolutely amazing!! He was very friendly and easy to work with and he had great ideas for poses that turned out great! He has been very professional and has great communication and incredible talent with photography! Highly recommend!!

    Edgar is incredibly talented. He took my fiancé and I to locations in Pittsburgh I didn’t know were there. When we got our photos back (in a timely manner), my fiancé and I were stunned to see the excellent quality and the beauty of the photos. Absolutely wonderful photography we will cherish the rest of our lives!
