Established in October of 2017, Pretentious is the first brewery in Columbus to specialize exclusively in barrel-aged sour ales. Our extensive knowledge of the symbiotic relationship between beer and wood results in consistent, quality sours. Strongwater Events is a dynamic industrial wedding venue housed in the middle of a century old warehouse in the Franklinton Arts District, just outside of downtown Columbus, OH. We have three distinct spaces all connected to each other to allow for many different sized weddings. We share the warehouse with Strongwater Food & Spirits and 400 West Rich artist studios and are extremely grateful to be a part of this thriving hub of creativity! We're located just minutes from downtown Columbus and surrounded by a vibrant community. The warehouse was originally built in 1911 and has been preserved and reimagined into the chic industrial space it is today.
