Adventure and exploration is at the heart of our identity as a couple! For our honeymoon, we are absolutely thrilled to be planning a safari in Kenya. Cottars 1920's Camp in the Olderkesi Conservancy abuts the Maasai Mara National Reserve ("the 8th Wonder of the World"). Cottars is one of the most pioneering conservancies and a model of community-owned conservation. It is one of only thirteen accredited Global Ecosphere Retreats in the world! (And of course they shake a fantastic G+T at sunset!)A portion of our trip will fund the Cottars Wildlife Conservation Trust (CWCT), a 7,000 acre wildlife conservancy which protects animals from poachers & deforestation and invests in the long-term wellbeing of local Maasai communities.
