Timeless was amazing! Going with a big company I was worried it wouldn’t be personal but it absolutely was. Everyone was easy to contact and my video came out perfect! Beyond what we imagined.

When I am not behind the camera or editing photos, I enjoy short Uber rides to bottomless brunch on the weekends; right now mimosas and I kinda have a thing going on! I have a special relationship with bourbon and FIRMLY believe in putting food on the grill during late afternoons should be the norm. I am blessed to be married to the happiest person on earth (I am so serious), who just happens to double as my favorite person. She keeps me grounded and never fails to remind me how great she is.

Jamz Events

Washington, DC
  • DJ
  • Starts at $1,600

I've spent the past 15+ years offering my musical knowledge to events all over the world. That experience translates to DJing weddings and events so seamlessly, from being able to read crowds and deliver exactly what you and your guests want, to managing logistics from the DJ booth in an effortless manner. Whether you want a folk-laden cocktail hour, a classic dinner playlist, or a modern dance party, let me be the one to provide the soundtrack to the most important day of your life!

Awarded Best of Zola
Our original DJ had a family emergency and I reached out to Jeremy one week before our wedding. He was somehow available which was the greatest miracle of our wedding. We were so stressed and he immediately calmed us down and ended the call with "let's have a wedding!" Given the timing, we didn't have time for another call before the day. He had a comprehensive questionnaire that covered every situation we wanted a specific song for (including our cake cutting song) so another call was not needed and he did everything perfectly. He is extremely adaptable and stepped in so many times without needing to be asked (helping corral people for pictures). He followed every song we wanted (and didn't want), but also was able to nail the vibe when given vague directions (chill love songs during our cocktail hour). The best part was when we opened up the dance floor, my Fitbit logged me as doing "sport" for 2 hours straight at one point and I did over 10,000 steps just from dancing. He kept people dancing and people loved it, my wife and I both had multiple people tell us our wedding was the one of the best they had been to BECAUSE of the DJ. My favorite part was he genuinely loves what he does, you could see the joy on his face when he made a great transition between songs and that energy was infectious. I would highly recommend him to anyone. He is extremely organized, professional, and fun. Jeremy, thank you for making our wedding unforgettable!

Poppy did an amazing job bringing our vision to life for our wedding florals, and was much more affordable than any other options we considered. The wedding went off without a hitch. The only issue I had was regarding communication. We were promised we would be given a direct phone number/email for the person who was actually designing and delivering the flowers, but that was not true - we were given a generic phone and email. I was beginning to panic wondering whether my flowers had been delivered, but fortunately they were! This is not a knock on the florist herself who was fantastic. But Poppy should be able to provide some sort of direct connection for day-of logistics.

Working with Mary was unbelievably wonderful. She is delightful and creative. The flowers were BEYOND anything I could have ever imagined and they transformed the space. Mary's small touches and attention to detail were so special. I loved it. When I talked with Mary, I expressed how I wanted vintage oyster cans as the centerpieces but they were cost prohibitive. However, she suggested I make my own design and create them - and so I did. She filled them with beautiful plants and it was my favorite touch of the whole wedding. Lastly - I did not choose to have a bouquet. However, Mary created both a boutonniere and bouquet and left them with a lovely note, that was so thoughtful. I felt so special. I actually didn't know about those until the next morning, so it was like a new surprise even though the event ended - I had something that felt magical again. It was really nice.

Lisa was amazing during our entire wedding planning experience! In our first conversations, she was so helpful as we started to visualize our wedding aesthetic, and provided a beautiful comprehensive proposal. Then, on our wedding day, we were floored by how gorgeous the florals and decor came out. The table centerpieces, hanging florals and entrance piece brought so much warmth and beauty to our reception hall. Lisa was able to tie everything together and make the hall look elegant and polished. She went above and beyond and we’d recommend her to any couple looking for a wedding florist.

Hey, I'm Chris! Dog-lover, latte-lover, gym-lover, and cookie-lover I justify the cookies by going to the gym. One of my life goals is to have enough dogs (dachshunds and corgis) to create a sled team. I will use this sled team to pull myself around while shooting your wedding. I’m joking, unless you really want me to, in which maybe WE should get married.

He took so many incredible photos of us, helped with loads of ideas for poses, and gave us a huge variety to choose from. It was natural, easy, stress-free, and we look awesome. Our wedding photos are iconic! And he is a first rate coordinator, making communication and scheduling so easy.

Kelton Higgins is a multi-award-winning DJ based in Washington, DC and Brooklyn, NY. Flawless mixing and a vast knowledge of music combined with exceptional planning and organizational skills ensures each event is a tailored experience. Specializing in weddings (ceremony, cocktails & receptions) and private event entertainment you can be assured your working with one of the absolute best. If you need a DJ who can play ANYTHING and EVERYTHING you want - then Kelton is the one for you.

Awarded Best of Zola
Kelton is awesome - he killed it dj-ing for the clients, the dance floor was non-stop going nuts the whole time! His demeanor is super low-key and easy going, and he was very easy to work with, which means a lot in this field. Weddings have lots of moving parts and can be chaotic, but having vendors that are kind and willing to work as a team makes the day go a whole lot smoother. The couple had lots of requests for songs in completely different genres, but he managed to keep the party going with no awkward pauses and seamless transitions. I highly recommend hiring him if you want someone that's going to work well with everyone and make sure to light the dance floor on fire!

Working with Andi was a dream. She heard all of my desires and brought them together in a beautiful product. When I reached out to her, I knew I wanted someone who would tell the story of our day and prioritize getting quality audio and capturing our day in a documentary style that still had a cinematic feel. She was able to bring all my wishes to life and even added in some extra tidbits within the video to further showcase the relationship I have with my husband. When faced with a couple last minute changes and a special request, she was able to roll with the punches and come through in a big way. To put it simply, you won’t regret working with Lastlook Films. She is a phenomenal talent and also a great communicator.
